Boarding Services

At Island Canines, boarding is reserved exclusively for dogs adopted through our program—dogs we know, understand, and have already guided into a structured lifestyle. This allows us to maintain a consistent, well-managed environment tailored to the needs of each dog in our care.

Your dog stays in our home as part of our pack, living alongside our own dogs and participating in our daily routine. There are no kennels—just a calm, structured setting with familiar expectations, supervised social time, and appropriate rest. Because every dog shares a common foundation, we are able to support a balanced environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and owners can feel confident their dog is being thoughtfully cared for.

Boarding Rate:

• Flat Rate: $40.00 per dog, per night

For families with multiple Island Canines dogs, we offer a $10 discount for each additional dog staying at the same time.

Extended Stay Discounts:

• 7–14 nights: 10% off total stay
• 15+ nights: 15% off total stay

As part of our commitment to your dog’s overall care, we offer an optional grooming service during their stay. This includes a thorough bath and nail trim, along with a light brush-out, helping maintain coat condition and overall comfort.

This service is available for $30 and can be added to any boarding reservation, so your dog returns home clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

A 50% deposit is required for stays of three nights or longer.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled reservation will incur a $20 fee.
